Got a thing for Pearl Jam

and so do all our friends apparently. so many said they were jealous when they heard i'd gone. for those of you that didn't go here's "Just Breathe" captured on my iPhone. i keep wondering why i love this version so much. it's the strings and they're NOT on the Backspacer album! be patient. it takes a minute or two to load but so worth it.

TwoFab LA New Music Monday - French Band Phoenix

this week our DJ Esther (shown above, age 4) picked Phoenix, "1901".  Esther and i are going to see them at the Greek in September to celebrate her birthday.  E do you know that the lead singer, Thomas Mars, and Sofia Coppola have a child together?  i also got tickets for Elbow and Bon Iver, both at the Wiltern.  and july 22 i can get tickets for Loud and Rich at UCLA Live - Loudon Wainwright III (Rufus's dad) and Richard Thompson.  i think i'm set for now!

Wish i had gone (Austin TX, SXSW). A band new to me is Shearwater. They were there. Okkervil River (wasn't there) is an offshoot of this band. i guess some people are too talented to have just one band...
