wallpaper as art /sf

wally, i was perusing some of the links on our blog today, (something i liken to visiting old friends) and i came across Nama Rococo. I don't believe we have ever shared this fantastic company with our friends, so i want to be sure to do so now.

Nama Rococo (named for North Adams MAssachusetts) is a wallpaper studio where everything is hand painted and hand-screened. They have a stunning collection of patterns that are available either by roll or as single sheets.

They offer couture and limited editions as well as their standard line. I am in love with all of their patterns, but my favorite by far is this French Dot in Oh La Black. Sort of Matisse-meets Wild-Child.

I would love to buy a few sheets as they show here and hang them together. I like the portability factor, too. Until we lay down some permanent roots, my purchases need to be somewhat mobile.

This Serious Bokay pattern would go great in my lavender living room.

Here's a groovy neutral (is that an oxi-moron)? Very retro.

Fun and dramatic black and white. This might be a very cool choice for moms with little kids and fingerprints.

I could see this in an office or loft space.

and these are just plain fun.

BTW, what was the iphone app you mentioned to me the other day for matching paint chips? I may need that to go along with this wallpaper project.
