Wally, Will and I discovered this amazing lavender sugar one weekend at our local Farmers Market in San Rafael. It's from a company called AllStar Organics located here in Marin County. I spoke at length with Janet Brown about the company and her 500 rose bushes..which we have got to visit next time you're up here. They sell organic herbal sugars and salts as well as a line of essential oils and hydrosols. They are all heavenly. So far my favorite is the lavender, which my friend Mia, aka. bartender/ nursing student/ personal hero uses to rim her out-of-this-world custom martinis. Yum.
