Angela, i thought that we should regularly include tips or info about being eco-conscious. this is the perfect thing to post for our first one. Cami (who co-wrote this very cool book, the Down-to-Earth Guide to Global Warming) was part of that famous (to us) trip where we went to Italy, France and Spain. it's a visually stunning, very engaging book for kids (8 and up) that really explains Global Warming and what we can do about it.
